The door and features shown below are associated with our contemporary range. We achieve this through our designs and our choice of timber and ironmongery.
Our contemporary doors are typically made from Euro Oak, however we occasionally use Accoya. Oak is a wonderful timber to use because of its detailed grain pattern and fantastic dimensional stability.
The inner sub-frame of the contemporary doors provides stability, while allowing space for a PU insulation core to be fitted to provide excellent thermal efficiency for your home.
Need more light? Many of our contemporary door styles are available with glass. Page 10 illustrates the various glazing options available for your door.
The construction of these doors provide an extra layer of insulation and give the finished door a contemporary feel.
The outer panels have a V-groove chamfer on the edges for aesthetic purposes.
We can manufacture the sill as part of the frame, or without it to incorporate an existing stone sill. Each door is different, but for excellent draught proofing we usually use a stormguard threshold sill. We can also use a mechanical drop down seal that is recessed into the base of your door.
Please also write your postcode in the name box so that we can provide you with a price for installation.
